This is a superb film, réconstituant perfectly the atmosphere of the era and the aspirations of the arabs. An impressive cast in landscapes exhilarating gives this movie a lot of credibility and that serves the Story the best it can. Here, no invention, the facts are there, the men with their faults and their qualities, with, in the end, the heavy décéption of the defeat against the powerful. Lean has struck a great blow. Note: among the assistant directors, we find Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese! Orson Welles was the first one who modernised the cinema, from the technical point of view also, this is the scenario, with interesting topics full of suspense. Box that delighted both small and large with a good time to look familleou between amis. De good old classic to watch again and again without hesitation. WJ Has shows us a country in ruins, the streets are very dirty and the people ravaged by this war, are without hope and dark in the alcohol.
